Once more, the issue of "who's in charge" takes precedence over and torpedoes what could be a good thing for this area (as "region" seems to have a bad connotation here in Porter County, I'll avoid the term) Instead of asking "how may we help this happen", opposing parties delight in either criticizing or throwing up roadblocks in a "Look At ME, Everyone" (LAME for short) effort. Perhaps, our governor should take a page from Obama's book and give Indiana's House a "woodshed" session and get them to work together for the public good. Meanwhile, the semi truck traffic on little old Indiana 10 increases daily as drivers seek a less crowded route to I-57.
