Up To $20 Million Needed To Stop Hammond Flooding
Susan Brown of the Northwest Indiana Times reports that Hammond's Sanitary District manager says fixing city flooding will cost $9 million to $12 million, while a "16-point wish list" could cost taxpayers up to $20 million.
Ouch!
Too bad we can't figure out a way to make energy out of all of the excess water.
