Will Indiana Go Blue In 2008?
Filed Under Election 2008, Evan Bayh, George W. Bush, politics
A poll is out showing that Indiana could go for the Democrats in 2008, especially if Evan Bayh is on the ballot.
Without specific candidates to back, 37 percent said they anticipate voting for the Democratic nominee, compared with 32 percent who anticipate voting for the Republican.

Look, this is a stupid poll.
People don’t vote for “unnamed Democrat candidate”. They vote for a person.
If the choices are Hillary! and Rudy, who do you think that they’re going to vote for?
I’d only give 50-50 odds either way, but that’s far, far from an overwhelming Democrat advantage.
Hi Buzzcut,
I think it also might show that Republican voters are frustrated that the President doesn’t get his message out there better than he does.
I think when it comes down to voting next year, people who have been voting GOP for years and years will find it hard to pull the lever for any of the Democratic candidates — especially the ones who are owned by the extremists on the radical left.
I can see people wanting to vote for Sen. Evan Bayh — having a vice president in the White House could mean good things as far as bringing home the bacon to Indiana.
