Nailah Franklin's Ex Arrested In Unrelated Case
Nailah FranklinThe ex-boyfriend of Nailah Franklin -- the missing Eli Lilly pharmaceutical representative who was found dead in Calumet City, Illinois -- was arrested on an unrelated charge of misdemeanor battery, reports CBS 2 Chicago.
Reginald Potts, 30, has been charged with misdemeanor battery. He was arrested on Friday in the 800 block of South Wabash Avenue, police News Affairs officers told CBS 2.
Potts is an acquaintance of Nailah Franklin, 28, whose body was found a week ago Thursday after a frantic nine-day search.
Police say that Reginald Potts isn't a suspect in Nailah Franklin's case, reports the Northwest Indiana Times.
Chicago police stressed that Friday's arrest of Reginald Potts, 30, an ex-boyfriend of Eli Lilly & Co. pharmaceutical sales representative Nailah Franklin, was on an unrelated charge and they have not named a suspect in her death.
