Let's forget Indiana for a moment. Why not vote for Ron Paul for President - he wants to eliminate the federal income tax - cool!

I keep seeing things about Ron Paul, but I don't know too much about him. I'll have to do some reading before election time.
Getting rid of the federal income tax would be a nice thing, but I don't see that happening since the tax code guarantees work for so many in our society.
I don't hold out much hope that the pols who all voted against Indiana property taxes -- I think all of the legislators voted in favor of abolishing that particular tax -- will actually pull the plug on the source of their power and prestige.
After all, making complicated tax rules that favor some and slam others keeps money flowing into campaign coffers!
