Hillary Clinton For Supreme Court?
Filed Under Hillary Clinton, Supreme Court | 6 Comments
How does Supreme Court justice Hillary Clinton sound?
James Andrew Miller writes in the Washington Post that Barack Obama should select Hillary Clinton to be a Supreme Court justice, if he is elected in November.
But there is another way to foster party unity without forcing a political marriage.
It’s likely that the next president will face at least one Supreme Court vacancy. Obama should promise Hillary Clinton, now, that if he wins in November, the vacancy will be hers, making her first on a list of one.
Paying off Hillary Clinton for getting out of the way could put her into a position of power over American life for decades to come.
Personally, I don’t see Barack Obama nominating Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court just to get her to stop her tireless campaign.
But, this has been a never-say-never year where anything can happen.

Supreme Court Set To Hear Voter ID Cases
Filed Under Supreme Court, voter ID | Comments Off
The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear Indiana voter ID cases.
From ChristopherHedges.com:
It makes sense to me to require positive identification of voters.
Identification is required before people can board airplanes, enter the Federal Courthouse in Hammond, cash checks, obtain a mortgage, rent an apartment, or before completing a myriad of other daily transactions.
Critics complain that it is difficult to obtain identification cards in Indiana, but the truth is that it isn’t too difficult to obtain an Indiana ID card.
