Give David Archuleta American Idol Title Now?

I read a recent article about this year’s American Idol 7 and it mentioned the thought that many Idol observers have had ever since the show narrowed down the contestants to the Top 24: David Archuleta will be the next American Idol. David Archuleta consistently is predicted to be safe by Dial Idol.
However, having been one American Idol observer who has put my bets on several contestants who haven’t made it through the various cuts over the last couple of months — I was rooting for cuties Amy Davis, Asia’h Epperson, and Ramiele Malubay — it’s always safe to assume that we can’t always tell what will happen on American Idol. If we knew right away who would win this year’s American Idol title, it wouldn’t be any fun to watch the show, would it?
Some are taking this position by placing their hopes on Carly Smithson — she hasn’t connected with me yet — while others are wishing on the stars for crowd pleaser David Cook and beautiful but real Brooke White. I’d be happy with either David Cook or Brooke White winning.

American Idol Elimination Night | Top 9 | Ramiele Malubay

Kristy Lee Cook, Ramiele Malubay and Brooke White are on deck for American Idol’s elimination night.
Brooke White is looking cute, even though she is sad about being in the bottom third of the Top 9. I am hoping that she can stay for another night. I would not mind if Kristy Lee Cook went home, but I wish Ramiele would put on a spectacular performance if she gets another chance to stay. I am not optimistic that Ramiele Malubay will not be voted off of American Idol, however.
Dolly Parton is singing “Jesus & Gravity” while we await who will be cut tonight. As we listen and watch Dolly Parton on the American Idol stage, we are wondering will it be Kristy Lee Cook or Ramiele Malubay or cutie Brooke White who will be cut from the American Idol crew.
Randy predicts that Ramiele will be voted off. Simon says it won’t be Brooke White.
Brooke White is sent to safety by Ryan Seacrest.
Fire up the conspiracy theories — Kristy Lee Cook is safe. Ramiele is sent home — she is looking sad as American Idol shows a recap of Ramiele Malubay clips and she sings her final song on the show.

Ramiele Malubay sings Dolly Parton’s “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind.”
Randy says it was kind of all right — a pretty good performance. Paula says that she is proud of Ramiele Malubay because she connected with the audience. Simon says that we aren’t going to remember Ramiele singing “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind” in 10 years.
