Steve Dalton has come out with a list of the Top 50 Northwest Indiana blogs.

I admit that I get stuck in a routine and look at a few blogs here and there, but I’m going to have to dig in and check out some of the fellow Northwest Indiana bloggers out there.

A post in Masson’s Blog points to a NWI progressive blog that I hadn’t noticed before while noting that Indy and Fort Wayne dominate Indiana’s blogosphere.

The progressive blog listed with a couple other Northwest Indiana blogs in my blogroll category “NWI Blogs Of Note.”

While I might not necessarily agree with all of the ideas espoused by the progressive movement — while it would be nice to take money from someone else to create utopia, it never seems to work in the real world where it has been tried — it is nice to see another Northwest Indiana blog putting ideas out into the competition of ideas.

Masson’s blog does raise the question why aren’t there more Northwest Indiana oriented bloggers out there?
