North Korea is going to try to open its famed “Hotel of Doom“ — also dubbed the “Worst Building in the History of Mankind” by Esquire, according to news reports.
After a 20+ year lull in construction on the monstrosity of one evil-looking building, North Korea’s great leader plans to build a communist tourist attraction to lure rich Westerners to their deaths excellent communist vacations.
Before North Korea announced its plans to open the hotel, it had tried to hide “The Hotel of Doom” in official state pictures of Pyongyang’s skyline, according to News Panda. Why hide what cannot be hidden? Why not restart construction and make it a tourist destination?
Build it and they will come?
I don’t think so — but there’s nothing else going on in North Korea, so why not try to open the Hotel of Doom to tourists before it collapses?
Want to visit beautiful North Korea for kicks?
Welcome to North Korea

Just be careful — along with the insane leadership, lack of food, and other problems facing that communist nation — the Hotel of Doom might be structurally unsound, according to reports.
The plans to open the Hotel of Doom does give people in Northwest Indiana hope. We have our own version of the Hotel of Doom just waiting to reopen right on Broadway — the Gary Sheraton.
