Randy says:  “You chose a tough song.”  “I like you better this week.”  “I thought it was pretty good.”

Paula: Perfect song. Paula fights for vocalists like Luke Menard to be in the Top 24.

Simon: “I think it was a mistake.  You are always going to be judged with the original.”  Luke Menard does not have charisma, compared to Freddy Mercury, says Simon.

Indiana is doing well in getting it’s singers into American Idol’s Top 24 rank this year — a first for Indiana singers since the American Idol began in 2002.

Only California has more contestants hoping to be selected by the American public as the next American Idol this season.

Luke Menard

Luke Menard is a 29-year-old from Crawfordsville, Indiana. Luke Menard has movie star looks and has made it to American Idol’s Top 24, so I’m sure he’ll go far in the competition. American Idol’s website has more about Indiana’s Luke Menard, if you’re interested.

Amy Jean Davis

Amy Davis is Northwest Indiana’s contribution to American Idol this season. No stranger to reality singing competitions, Amy Davis is sure to use her Nashville Star experience as an edge against first timers competing in American Idol’s Season Seven. Amy Davis also has good looks, lots of internet buzz associated with her modeling photos — everyone loves seeing Amy Davis in a bikini, and has a great back story of trying to climb the ladder of success. Amanda Overmyer

Amanda Overmyer is this year’s rock star. Amanda Overmyer loves to sound like Janis Jopin — which may end up being a detriment if Randy, Paula and Simon decide she doesn’t have the range to be the next American Idol. But, Amanda Overmyer has a lot going for her. Amanda Overmyer looks great, drives a Harley, and carries herself like a rock star.
