While I’ve been focusing on a bunch of other American Idol women — keep an eye on Pinay cutie Ramiele Malubay to do well.  Maybe she’ll be number one when all is said and done.

Ramiele Malubay wants to be the first Filipina American Idol and follows in the footsteps of Pinay singing sensation Jasmine Trias.  And, from the comments she received Wednesday night, she Ramiele might achieve her goal.

Considering the success that Jasmine Trias has had following her third place finish on American Idol Season 3, look for Ramiele Malubay to have an instant career in the media in the Philippines — she’ll be all over TFC — as well as the United States. And, you’ve got to love her dad’s enthusiasm — check out the video below.  I know that Filipinos everywhere are cheering Ramiele.

Rickey predicts that Ramiele Malubay will be a huge hit in the Philippines.

Ramiele Malubay gets my vote. I don’t think she has an entire state behind her like Jasmine Trias, but she’s certainly going to make waves in the Philippine community here in the U.S. and back in the Philippines.
