Barack Obama and Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh — Obama’s potential running mate? — grabbed some hamburgers from Portage’s Schoops yesterday.

While Obama was ordering his lunch, he remained silent — but give a smile — when asked what his “vice president” was ordering. Is that a sign that Evan Bayh is his choice? Only time will tell.

One good thing — it’s always nice for Northwest Indiana to get some attention from presidential candidates.

Hillary Clinton starts her Indiana ad campaign with her “Spine of Steel” advertisement.

Sen. Evan Bayh says:

“I’ve known Hillary for twenty years. She’s got a spine of steel. She’ll fight for our jobs, our troops, and the America we love. Strong. Seasoned. She’ll always stand up for us.”

Will Hillary’s “Spine of Steel” win over steel workers and other blue collar workers that Hillary Clinton is hoping to win over in May?
