I remember thinking the same thing when I was attending school at Indiana University Bloomington.  What is there to do besides see a movie, go out to Kilroys, or a house party in Bloomington?

Jacob Levin writes about the need for something to do in Bloomington that doesn’t involve bar hopping.

This is a golden opportunity, if someone can figure out what will appeal to college students at a Big 10 school.

The worst part is, this was all supposed to resemble fun.   Gradually, I’m learning I’m not alone. I’m learning that people who can’t successfully con themselves into believing the hype are increasingly looking for something to do on the weekend that doesn’t consciously suck. And when some entrepreneur finally realizes the demand among IU students who aren’t bar hopping, there will be a renaissance.

There’s a rumor that Cedar Lake, Indiana’s own Amy Davis has made it to the American Idol Top 24, reports the American Idol Fan site.
