<p>I don&#8217;t know why Dubai and the <a href="http://www.burj-al-arab.com/" title="Burj al Arab" rel="nofollow">Dubai Burj al Arab</a> are so fascinating to me.</p>
<p>It could be because Dubai seems to be billed as the Las Vegas of the Middle East with all of its luxury buildings, grand building plans, and full-on embrace of business and capitalism.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a contrast to all of the images and news that always dominates Middle Eastern news coverage.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s good to see a ray of light in a part of the world that sometimes seems mired in never ending violence and conflict.</p>
