Georgia Under Attack in Cyberspace

The Russians are attacking the small country of Georgia over Ossetia on two fronts — a military battle for land and a second front to control cyberspace.
Wired reports that Russian hackers have been attacking various .ge domains as part of an assault against Georgian internet sites in the days leading up to the air and ground assault against Georgia’s territory by Russian troops hoping to oust Georgia’s leadership — a leadership that has close ties to the west.
IntelFusion calls the internet attacks “full scale cyberwar.”
It’s a brave new world when air and ground assaults are led by hacker vanguards.
Maybe increased cyber attacks on various military and economic internet sites will be seen as a harbinger of an invasion in various parts of the world?
