Filed Under courts | Comments Off
Cameras could broadcast time-delayed trials from three Lake County, Indiana civil courtrooms, reports the Indianapolis Star.
The Lake County trials would be shown on the Northwest Indiana Times website.
Lake County Circuit Court Judge George Paras and Lake Superior Court Judges Calvin Hawkins and John Pera will have the cameras in their courts, according to news reports. The judges will control the cameras and can entertain objections, reports The Times. The broadcasts will be on a two-hour delay to allow time to redact sensitive information, if necessary.
