Be Still My Heart: 13% Budget Cuts!

Miracles can happen, as evidenced by the following headline in the Northwest Indiana Times:

“County Board set to slash department’s budgets.”

Looking to save money, the County Board is looking to cut back spending by 13% at a time when government officials are seeking new tax revenues.

Unfortunately, the cutting is happening just across the state line in Cook County.
