Will unrest erupt among unemployed here?

Matthew Kline asks if there is a coming backlash among the well-educated, but unemployed generation of Americans a la that seen in the Middle East?
Writes Kline:
The uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa are a warning for the developed world. Even if an Egyptian-style revolution breaking out in a rich democracy is unthinkable, it is easy to recognize the frustration of a generation that lacks opportunity.
While I doubt we’ll have uprisings in America, it’s likely that if economic conditions don’t improve there may be consequences seen at the ballot box.

Online Radiation and Geiger Counter Maps

Until the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster, I never really felt the need to check local radiation levels. While the experts say there is nothing to worry about at this time, it always feels a little better to take a look at the data myself.
Here are some sites that allow people to check radiation levels at various places in the United States:
EPA’s RadNet Map Interface (I had to use Opera to view the site). According to the EPA as of Sunday evening (3/20/11), “The RadNet air monitors across the U.S. show typical fluctuations in background radiation levels. The levels detected are far below levels of concern. As the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has said, we do not expect to see radiation at harmful levels reaching the U.S. from damaged Japanese nuclear power plants.”
Radiation Network – Gives another view of radiation levels throughout the United States from privately operated monitors.
Online Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector Map – This site has a Chicago radiation detection site.
