Chikezie’s Going Home Tonight | American Idol 7
Filed Under American Idol, Chikezie | Leave a Comment
Chikezie is going home tonight and the American Idol competition is down to 9 competitors.
I always thought Chikezie did a good job singing, but I can see where most of the votes ended up going to David Archuleta and David Cook. He’s doing a great job singing his outro for tonight’s television program.
Being in the Top 10, Chikezie will do well in the future.

Chikezie sings Brenda Russell’s “If Only For One Night.”
Chikezie’s sounding good and has some decent crowd interaction.
Randy says: “I didn’t love this for you. It was very old school. … It was kind of boring for me.”
Paula disagrees. “It was a good throw back.”
Simon calls Chikezie “cheesy.” “You have to show originality. … I miss your personality.”

Dial Idol Predictions
Filed Under Amanda Overmyer, American Idol, Chikezie, David Archuleta, David Cook, Kristy Lee Cook, Syesha Mercado | 3 Comments
If Dial Idol’s predictions are correct, we should see a night where David Archuleta is safe because he received way more calls than any other contestant. Coming in next on the Dial Idol listings are Syesha Mercado and David Cook. They did very well last night, so if any of those three were sent home from American Idol, it would be shocking.
However, keep an eye on Kristy Lee Cook and Amanda Overmyer to be sent home. They, along with Chikezie are at the bottom of the Dial Idol rankings.

Chikezie sings the Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen A Face.”
I didn’t get into it, but I wasn’t that familiar with the song.
Randy — “It sounded like it could make a good country song. … It was a very weird strange arrangement. It was strange to me.”
Paula — “You’re showing who you are. … I love it. … You did it again!”
Simon — “I thought it started off okay, then you played the harmonica which was literally atrocious, then it turned into ‘Achy Breaky’ at the end.”
