Russian Imperial Stout days coming

Mark your calendars for April 24, 2010.

That is the day that Three Floyds Brewing makes its world-famous Russian Imperial Stout “Dark Lord” available at its Munster, Indiana brewery.

Says Three Floyds about Dark Lord Day:

Dark Lord Day is the only day of the year to buy Three Floyds Dark Lord Russian Imperial stout.

I’ve never experienced Three Floyds Dark Lord, but I’m going to have to make a point of getting out there this year to join in on what is quickly coming a major NWI beer-making event.

If you can’t wait until Dark Lord Days, check out Crown Brewing in downtown Crown Point, Indiana.

Their website shows they have a Russian Imperial Stout of their own: Grand Poobah Russian Imperial Stout.
