Alexandrea Lushington Gets Cut From AI
Filed Under Alexandrea Lushington, American Idol | Leave a Comment
Alexandrea Lushington didn’t get the votes to make it to the next round of American Idol.
Randy says that it wasn’t the right choice but the reason she didn’t get the votes is because she didn’t chose the right song.
Paula tells Alexandrea that this isn’t the end of the road, but a beginning.
She’ll do well — Alexandrea is young. Keep an eye out for her in the future.

Filed Under Alex Lushington, Alexandrea Lushington, American Idol | Leave a Comment
Alexandrea Lushington was anxious when she went to the American Idol audition. Her grandmother came with her and provided support.
“The second day I sang for my life,” said Alexandrea Lushington.
“My goal is to just stay myself and be consistent.”
Alexandrea Lushington sings “What Goes Up (Must Come Down)” and looks great wearing a new hairstyle.
Randy says: “It don’t matter what age you are, this season 7 it is about being young.” “It was hot, baby.” “She’s ready to make records.”
Paula says: She loves how Alexandrea took charge of her performance and showed more confidence than anyone else so far tonight.
Simon says: “I didn’t get it.” “It reminded me of some terrible ’60s musical.”

American Idol Top 5 Favorite Women List
Filed Under Alex Lushington, Alexandrea Lushington, Amanda Overmeyer, Amanda Overmyer, American Idol, Asia'h Epperson, Joanne Borgella | 6 Comments
When I’m watching American Idol on Wednesday — the men sing on Tuesday — I’ll be keeping an eye out for the following female singers (in no particular order):
My American Idol Top 5 favorite women list
# Amanda Overmyer
# Amy Davis
# Alexandrea Lushington
# Asia’h Epperson, and
# Joanne Borgella.
Amanda Overmyer | American Idol
Amanda Overmyer — Mulberry, Indiana’s favorite Harley-Davidson riding singing nurse — is likely to go far this year in Season 7 of American Idol because of her Janis Joplin and Bob Segar influenced style.
Amanda Overmyer | American Idol
Here are some other American Idol women to keep an eye on this season:
Amy Davis | American Idol
Amy Davis because she’s from nearby Cedar Lake and Lowell, has a nice bikini figure, can sing well and could possibly win the American Idol title this season. I’d be cool to have someone from Northwest Indiana become this year’s American Idol.
Alexandrea Lushington | American Idol
Alexandrea Lushington — she’s young, looks good, and will be very popular the more she sings. Alexandrea Lushington could be the next big singer to come out of American Idol even if she doesn’t go all the way to win the top American Idol position.
Asia’h Epperson | American Idol
Asia’h Epperson — another teen cutie who is likely to go far this season. I predicted earlier that Asia’h Epperson and Amy Davis were the ones to keep an eye out to reach the very top of this year’s competition.
Joanne Borgella | American Idol
And, we can’t forget Joanne Borgella — another reality show veteran along with Amy Davis — who looks great and can carry a tune.
Here’s the recap of my Top 5 Favorite American Idol women this season:
