I’m one of the people named Christopher Hedges from Northwest Indiana, in case you’re wondering.
I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1992 with a BA in Journalism and Political Science and graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law with a J.D. in 1996. I work for a firm concentrating in commercial litigation.
Sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten an advanced degree where I would have been paid to go to school instead of having incurred massive student loans. Michelle Obama always mentions student loans on the campaign trail — I feel her pain. She is also an attorney — I feel her pain.
My opinions are my own don’t reflect those of my employer or anyone else — except me. They should never be considered advice of any kind and should be assumed to complete wrong and in need of correction and revision.
Sometimes I present opinions that might not reflect my own opinions in the interest of exploring ideas and having them compete in the opinion marketplace.
