Social media and radio combined
Local radio host Steve Walsh is combining social media and local public radio with an upcoming show to air live from a Merrillville coffee shop.
CheckIn with Steve Walsh is set to air Sept. 3 at noon from Spill the Beans in Merrillville with a live remote broadcast, according to his blog.
I’m looking forward to listening to the new program. It’s always a great thing to have locally produced radio programming, especially a show that promises to be a bridge between the old and new media.

after all the investigation and trial, blago found guity on one count of lieing to the FBI!
i would wonder why so much for so little?
in delaware I personally know that a county executive lied in writeing to a federal judge and no one did a darn thing about it.everyone, includeing politicians, judges, lawyers know all about it.sowhat im saying is why try this man again, have the US attorney come to delaware.he would have a ball and probally get a bunch of convictions of politicians.i dont think they are as smart here, because they actually lie in writeing!!!!
always something in paper, but no one does anything about it.why do they go after the little guy and not the real liers and thieves??

you will see what i mean!!!
Thank you the for fascinating interview on NPR’s Talk of The Nation (Nov 7, 2010) concerning the Death of Liberalism. Please shout the same from any rooftop you can find. It’s baffled me for the past 30 years that Liberalism has become so maligned, the American public so anti-intellectualism and so easily duped by the voices for unfettered capitalism. The Right to Life, Liberty and Happiness has been replaced by the RIGHT to PROFITS AT ANY COST to human- life, liberty and happiness. The 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s look like the best past years for Americans and possibly the planet and the world.
