The Indiana State Police are cracking down on speeders, drivers under the influence and people who fail to yield, reports WNDU.
Video: Indiana State Police are cracking down on speeders
The Indiana State Police have been operating swarm patrols in the South Bend area.
ABC 57 WBND reports about the increased Indiana State Police patrols:
Officers target high crash areas in the state and pull over drivers for speeding erratic driving and failure to yield. Police says those are some of the largest factors in fatal accidents.
I’d keep my eyes out for extra police activity in Northwest Indiana since it sounds like the effort is part of a state-wide plan designed to reduce Indiana’s fatal traffic accident statistics.
WNDU reports last year Indiana had the lowest number of fatal accidents since record keeping began in 1925.

The Indiana State Police are cracking down in South Bend. I’d keep an eye out for increased Indiana State Police activity in Northwest Indiana since the news reports imply that the effort may be part of a state-wide effort to keep Indiana’s accident …
