Hi Dave,

I'm always amazed when I hear these types of stories because anyone who does debt collection work knows not to do those kinds of things, but I'm not surprised after seeing a television news report (maybe Dateline?) that showed undercover video of a collection place doing the same thing -- threatening criminal actions against people and collectors pretending that they were law enforcement officers.

I had recently listened to a podcast where the host suggested that this might start happening, but there would be some legal ramifications if they did.

Gosh, this guy has them where it counts.
