Gird Your Loins, Says Biden

Americans must ready themselves for a serious international test, if Barack Obama is elected, said Sen. Joe Biden, Obama’s running mate.
Says Biden, warning of some coming “international incident:”
“It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
What do you think the test will be?
1) 9/11 or Pearl Harbor -style sneak attack against the United States?
2) Russia initiating Cold War II, complete with a kung fu Putin and sidekick lion cub?
3) Attack against Israel?
4) OPEC oil embargo a la the 1970s, complete with gas lines and shortages?
5) Rwanda / Congo style mass chaos and violence after the US pulls out of Iraq?
6) All of the above?

All we need is one more major catastrophe to occur under the guise of “terrorism” so that they can take away more of our freedoms (or enact the legislation they’ve already passed in the PATRIOT Act using the force of NORTHCOM). Obama has already been trying to take down ads that he feels are “unfair” to him or whatnot. Before we know it, we’ll have “hate speech” and “thought crime” legislation on the books, so that free speech is stifled and no one can speak out against the Obamessiah.

I think there’s a good chance we’ll have some kind of international incident in the next two weeks Dan. Truthfully, if you were some kind of crazy in Europe or the Mid East, wouldn’t you think this is the time?

Hi Dan and Steve,
I hope the predictions aren’t true, but the problem with the world is that there are plenty of people who will take advantage of economic instability and the transition from one government to another (whether it be Democrat or GOP). Let’s hope for the best and that Biden is incorrect.
If I had to guess anything, it would be something directed at Israel that could spiral out of control.
Yeah I have a good feeling if Obama is elected Israel going to preemptively attack Iran and see if we do anything about it.

Israel is already on hair-trigger alert. You might be right that Israel could attack Iran — most likely its nuclear program — in a bit of short term pain in order to have a longer term gain of a nuclear free Iran.
