Slide show: Scenes from the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics

My wife and I were out and about last night — it was 8-8-08 after all — so we had to head over to the Majestic Star to take advantage of the lucky evening. It was lucky indeed — we left the boat with more money than we brought in — but not so lucky that it was life changing or anything like that.

But, since we were paying attention to the automated roulette wheel in Star 2, we didn’t get to see much of the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics — thus the video and slide show recaps.
