Just when I was lamenting the lack of quality television programming in the summer comes NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Making Last Comic Standing even more interesting is beautiful and funny comic Esther Ku — a Chicagoan who’s living in Brooklyn, according to her Myspace page. Esther Ku is energetic, hilarious and a cutie.

Here’s what Esther Ku says about herself, according to Esther‘s Myspace page:
She now resides in Brooklyn and travels the country entertaining audiences with her all-American bratty charm and infamous maniacal laugh. Preconceived notions of Asians and women, and Asian women, specifically, are dispelled within seconds of her gracing the stage. Her delightful demeanor and deadpan observational humor incite hysteria wherever she goes.
Esther Ku also has her own website — FunnyKu.com. (It must have server problems because I couldn’t get Esther Ku‘s site to load. Let’s hope that it’s a temporary problem).
