I watched Denise Richards‘ new E! show — It’s Complicated — last night.

Denise Richards wants us to know that she’s just a woman from Illinois who keeps a bunch of dogs and three pigs in her house — all while living with her dad and talking about how she loves getting hooked up with the bad boys of Hollywood and the recording industry.

Remember that Denise Richards was married to Charlie Sheen — just in case we forgot about that Hollywood bad boy, there was a scene in It’s Complicated with our protagonist in the courthouse trying to get the clerks to change the court order to allow her to change her name because it evidently wasn’t included in the original dissolution order.  The clerks told Denise Richards that she’d have to go see the judge about getting her name changed.  Of course she was mad that it wasn’t going to happen that second.

I almost wish that I hadn’t watched Denise Richards‘ new show because it has ruined my impression of her forever because she seems overly interested in collecting pigs.

No longer will I view Denise Richards as the sexy Hollywood star hooking up with Neve Campbell in Wild Things — I’ll now envision her as the crazy lady who is collecting dogs and pigs — much like those crazy old ladies who like to stock up on cats at the animal shelter when nobody is paying attention.

Too bad Denise Richards has ruined her image.  Maybe she’ll redeem herself in upcoming episodes.
