David Archuleta isn’t a very good singer, at least not as good as David Cook. He cannot do what Cook can do. Cook is original, a risk taker, creative and he chooses difficult song to sing. Archuleta is middle-of-the-road kind of singer. When he tried hip-hp (singing “With You” by Chris Brown), he failed to deliver it. This is serious. All this while, the songs that he chose (or rather the father chose for him) are not really contemporary for present day. Cook is more relevant in today’s music industry. I’m not sure how many fans Archuleta could bring over to the real world. Voting by texting and going out to buy the album are two different kind of support.
