Neat site design! It’s always good to see Clay making an idiot out of himself — not!

Hey Chris, I like the new template. I am continuing to wonder how we will ever get rid of this dirty politics moniker for NW Indiana?

      Hi Dan,

Thanks! I decided I needed to change up the template. I had used this one before and really liked it. It provides for a little more flexibility with its three column layout.

Clay didn’t help himself in the national sphere if what he was trying to do was “showboat” by delaying the vote tabulation so that it would look like he brought in the vote for Barack Obama.

If the computerized votes and the computerized early votes had been counted earlier in the evening, the networks would have still said Gary voted heavily in favor of Barack Obama.

The fiasco just made everyone think that either the officials were not able to handle what election officials in 91 other counties could handle or something fishy was going on.

      Hi Steve,

Thanks. I’m thinking that it will take a very long time before Lake County lives down its reputation. Last Tuesday didn’t help much.

One good news item was that some incumbents on the Gary School Board lost. That’s a start.
