Jason Castro sings Bob Marley’s “I Shot The Sheriff.”
Jason Castro is singing okay, but someone is going to have to go tonight so that we can see Syesha Mercado sing next week and we all know that David Cook and David Archueta are the vote getters.

Randy says it was a karaoke version of Bob Marley. Paula says she has never seen Jason Castro perform as well for the audience. However, Paula isn’t crazy about Jason Castro’s song selection tonight.
Simon says “that was utterly atrocious. That is a song you do not touch. … That was a like a first round audition massacre. … I don’t know what you were thinking!”
Maybe Jason Castro will keep Syesha Mercado safe for the Top 3.

it was terrible.. Bob Marley should not be sung by white kids with dreadlocks, its just wrong.

Its hard to imagine why he got this far to begin with. He is a decent performer, However…He is not diverse enough to be an American Idol. I think he knows this and his performance yesterday was purposely bad. I think he staged the whole thing. He purposely pretended to flub those lyrics. I would be shocked if he remains in the competition. If he does than we know for sure that the show is not rigged!
I think he was smoking before he went on stage to perform. He was way too disassociated - in his own private space.

unlike most, I honestly loved his bob marley performance. i know it was weird and different but he still sang with perfect pitch and i thought it sounded way cool and original. ive listened to it over and over on u tube and i like it more every time

I love this guy. No matter what people say about him, i still love him. And i believe he pretended to flub the song(i’m sure about that).
He is pure…real musician.And i thought American Idol wasn’t fair……….hiks.hiks
