David Cook is sounding good as he leads off American Idol tonight with Duran Duran‘s “Hungry Like The Wolf.”

Randy doesn’t get it, but Paula is salivating like a wolf at the thought of David Cook’s version. Doesn’t Paula Abdul always look like she’s hungry like the wolf? Simon thought the version was good but says that David Cook didn’t change it up like he has with other songs. Simon predicts David Cook will make it through this week’s episode of American Idol and into the Top 3.

   That was great. David Cook has sewn up American Idol.
   The only way he loses if he comes out next week and eats a baby seal.
