Jon Costas Running for AG

Steve Dalton has a post about Valparaiso’s Mayor Jon Costas running for Indiana Attorney General. Steve had a post about the rumors that were flying around Valpo last night before the news broke officially.

Anyway, a quiet week of behind-the-scenes maneuvering burst into the open on Tuesday evening, with the announcement of the candidacy of Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas and the (Hoosierpundit-predicted) withdrawal of Secretary of State Todd Rokita from the race entirely (due, of course, to the also-predicted family considerations of a newborn).

    Thanks for the mention, are you logging in this afternoon on the blogger conference call? Last I talked to Jon, yesterday, he was pretty excited about being very open with bloggers in this election
