This is the season for wild political speculation and why not throw another Indiana politicians into the mix as a possible vice presidential pick.

This time Indiana’s Tim Roemer is being mentioned as Barack Obama’s potential vice president.

Washington Post writer Chris Cillizza used his Friday blog The Fix to speculate on possible running mates for the presidential candidates. In the potential lineup for Barack Obama is Indiana’s Tim Roemer. He’s a former U.S. congressman from the South Bend area who is now president of the Center for National Policy.

Roemer is also a Catholic who has a history of delivering a solid Catholic vote and remains committed to pro-life issues within the Democratic Party.
