Michael Johns breaks into this night’s American Idol singing Queen’s “We Will Rock You” then “We Are The Champions.”

It’s good to hear a couple of decent rock songs on American Idol.  The crowd enjoys it and has been yelling for a while.

Randy:  “Finally you believe in your self. … Dude, that was the best performance for me since you’ve been on the show.”

Paula:  “This was your shining movement.  I’m so proud of you.”

Simon:  “This is the first time with you that I saw star potential.  Tonight you just got it right.  I looked like a front person.  … For me it was the only memorable performance” tonight.

That was a great performance from Michael! I’m sure that I wasn’t the only one that was waiting for a breakout performance like this one. I’m so relieved! As an aside, does anyone know what shirt he was wearing before he took the stage? In the interview. It looked like it spelled something, but the whole word was not visible.
