Brooke White gets off to a false start while singing The Police‘s “Every Breath You Take.”   But, she recovers and gets the crowd to wave their arms as she plays the piano.  The judges will later say Brooke’s restart was professional.

Brooke is looking beautiful while siting at the piano, so I’m sure that will get her some votes tonight.  She also has a good voice — all of the contestants who have made it this far are pretty decent singers — but Brooke has the ability to capture the hearts of American Idol’s viewers.

Randy says: “I like that you started it and said that wasn’t right.”

Paula says she enjoyed this performance more than last week’s.  “I think you’re consistant.  That’s great.”

Simon:  “If you would have just stayed you on the piano it would have sounded cool. … Definitely good enough to keep you in for another week. … It was fantastic.  Better than last week.”
