Changing The Subject — Barack Obama’s Passport
Filed Under Barack Obama, Democratic Party, Election 2008, Hillary Clinton, Indiana primary, Jeremiah Wright, opinion polls
The news that State Department fired several contract workers for taking peeks into Barack Obama’s passport application could be the news Barack Obama needs to change the subject away from the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy that has been a drag on his poll numbers and a boon to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and which some predict could help the GOP in the general election.
It will be interesting to see if this affects the poll numbers in the upcoming Pennsylvania — where Hillary Clinton currently has the advantage, North Carolina — where Barack Obama has the lead, Indiana and West Virginia primaries.
Update: All three presidential candidates were victims of curious State Department employees taking peeks into their passport files.

Luckily all three candidates had their passport files perused, so Obama can’t claim a fanciful conspiracy of the white controlled government.
The pressure is continuing to mount on him, I noticed that the nwi times bulletin board has heated up under the subject 2008 Presidential election and I’ve been tossing some links there too.
This thing isn’t going away and may last a couple months and get everyone a ton of traffic.
Hi Steve,
I’m getting ready to put up a post related to the NWI forum — Barack Obama’s people have been encouraged to go into the board and respond to negative comments.
