Usually voting in May means Indiana’s primary voters don’t have much say in the presidential nominating process.

This year is different as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are fighting for each and every delegate he and she can win.  This means that Indiana’s primary could be very interesting on the Democratic side.

Writes Blue Indiana’s Thomas:

Maureen Groppe writes this morning of the “almost giddy” mood that seems to have swept over Democrats in Indiana. For once, we’re going to matter.

At least, we think we will.

Groppe takes a look at the national campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and how their surrogates at the state level have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for months to shift Indiana toward one or the other.
