An Elkhart Police Department security video shows police taking inappropriate pictures of a woman brought into the station.

Elkhart Police have released a video tape showing officers taking inappropriate pictures of a woman brought into their station early Thanksgiving morning, reports WSBT-TV’s Samuel King.

The woman arrived just before the 3 a.m. The state police arrested the man she was riding with for drunk driving. Police brought her to the Elkhart Police Department to arrange a ride home. Police say the woman engaged in suggestive banter with the officers.

At 4:06 a.m, she posed for provocative pictures with Cpl. Benjamin Eaton, then with Safety Officer George Collard.

Ten minutes later, she climbed on the information desk and got into a provocative pose there, too. Collard came around to the other side of the desk and snapped a photo.

While we’ve heard about behavior termed “inappropriate” between police department employees and a female visitor, only now is the public getting a look at what all the fuss was about.

It all started early Thanksgiving morning when a woman with dark hair, a white shirt, and denim mini skirt and white boots entered the lobby of the Elkhart Police headquarters.

The entire episode was recorded by two separate surveillance cameras, although there was no audio.

The woman in question was not under arrest.
