Arrest Made In Baby Josiah Shaw Shooting

Police have arrested a person of interest in the shooting death of Josiah T. Shaw — the baby who was killed during a carjacking in Gary — on a Porter County warrant, reports the Northwest Indiana Times.
A 33-year-old man arrested on a warrant in Porter County was being held as a person of interest in the shooting death of a 13-month-old baby in Gary late Monday.
Police were not releasing the name of the man or any other information about him.
Josiah T. Shaw of the 5800 block of Forrest Court in Gary was pronounced dead at The Methodist Hospital’s Northlake Campus in Gary at 10:15 p.m., according to a spokeswoman for the Lake County coroner’s office.
