It’s one of those events that everyone should tune into to keep abreast of the state of the best country in the world, but I have to admit that I have no desire to watch the State of the Union speech tonight.

It might be the fact that all of the news reports say that nothing major will be announced tonight because President Bush knows that he won’t be able to pass anything major during his last year in office.

Don’t tell anyone, but I’ll probably be flipping around watching whatever looks interesting on cable.
