Another present for 2008, this time in the form of a toll increase from the Chicago Skyway.

The toll for cars will rise from $2.50 to $3.00 tomorrow.

Happy New Year!

I like the increase actually. In the long run it should put pressure on people to ride the south shore

    Hi Steve,

The 50 cent increase is still worth the time saved.

And, the South Shore extension will make living in Indiana more attractive to people who want to buy a house here, but work in the city, so anything that we can do to help that happen is always a good thing.
