It will soon be a new year and that means that Gary’s cell phone ban will be in effect.

Don’t call and drive at the same time inside the city limits of Gary, Indiana.

If you do, police could write you up for a $200 ticket.

      Odd how I see Gary police officers patrolling while talking on cell phones constantly… .

      Hi Dan,

      I saw the same thing in Chicago — the cops are always talking on their cell phones. (I assume it is because they aren’t recorded while the radio calls are …)
