Steve Dalton has set up a site to keep track of Northwest Indiana’s small, but growing, blogosphere with his Northwest Indiana Blogs.
I’m hoping one of these days, we can develop a vibrant NWI blogging community to rival those across the nation.
Along the same lines, I’m running Indiana Top Sites — if you’re a Northwest Indiana Blogger make sure to sign up and get on the list.
Also, another good place to get some publicity — and to show that there’s blogging going on in Northwest Indiana — is BlogNetNews.com/Indiana. I’d love to see a bunch of great NW Indiana bloggers join so that we can show Indianapolis and Fort Wayne that there’s more to Indiana than just their locales!

Thanks for the mention Chris. I’m with you, I wish more bloggers would step up like in Seattle and Austin to start talking more. The Times and the Post are pretty awful but have no real community to hold them accountable.

Just putting the NWI blogs blog together is a good start! It’s good that you’re getting the ball rolling. The key thing is for local bloggers to try to mention interesting posts that catch their eyes so that the NWI world becomes interlinked and vibrant.
