Jan Jeffcoat is a Chicago morning news hottie!

Instead of writing about Lake County, Indiana county employees wanting to take on additional county assignments as “consultants” and the Lake County Commissioners taking the right stand against such “double dipping” desires in these days of widespread tax pain — I’m going to write a quick note about the fun side of the news — Jan Jeffcoat over at Fox 32 Chicago.

Jan Jeffcoat has won the battle of the morning news anchors — at least with me — over runner up CNN’s Robin Meade, another hottie. You’ve got to love Jan Jeffcoat’s smile when she’s interacting with her co-host — Mike Barz. I just had an idea — how about a morning news show featuring Robin Meade and Jan Jeffcoat? I’m sure it’d do well in the ratings.

For years, I used to get my first news of the morning listening to the radio — I still do that in the car and at the office — I’ve rediscovered morning news on television.

Thanks to Jan Jeffcoat and Robin Meade for doing a great job in getting me to tune in after years of tuning out!
