Lake County politics may be bringing together the left and the right in an unexpected way. Both Democrat and Republican blogs agree it is time for Lake County Councilman Will Smith, Jr. to resign.
Says South Shore Progressive in Time For Smith To Resign:
This seems like a no brainer to me. Is Will Smith serving his constituents or himself?
Though a federal jury convicted him of the crime, Smith also said he believes he is not technically convicted until sentencing.
In case anyone was wondering, that would be himself.

Hey thanks for the link. I’m still trying to figure out how to list all the active blogs in Northwest Indiana. It’s more work than I’ve been able to put in, and frankly there just aren’t that many good writers in our region.
Hi Steve,
No problem at all. There aren’t many blogs in the area, but when I find one that is semi-active, I try to include it in order to create a blogging community for the area.
Have you submitted your blog to BlogNetNews.com’s Indiana site? It’s dominated by Fort Wayne and Indianapolis bloggers. I think I’m the only Northwest Indiana blog over there right now.
You CAN’T be talking about my blog. My writing makes women faint and men weep.
Check it out.
Hi Buzz,
You should submit your blog to BlogNetNews.com/Indiana also so that we get some NWI representation over there!
I’m pretty sure that I did.
How long does it take to get up there?
It’s the holiday weekend, so I’d give it a little bit of time, but when I applied, I sent an email to the contact person and was online over there pretty quickly. I think it took a couple of days, but it didn’t seem too take too long.
