Why Aren’t There More NWI Blogs?
A post in Masson’s Blog points to a NWI progressive blog that I hadn’t noticed before while noting that Indy and Fort Wayne dominate Indiana’s blogosphere.
The progressive blog listed with a couple other Northwest Indiana blogs in my blogroll category “NWI Blogs Of Note.”
While I might not necessarily agree with all of the ideas espoused by the progressive movement — while it would be nice to take money from someone else to create utopia, it never seems to work in the real world where it has been tried — it is nice to see another Northwest Indiana blog putting ideas out into the competition of ideas.

Thanks for mentioning my post.
A related question is also of interest to me — why is Fort Wayne such a blogospheric hot spot? Indianapolis, I think has a lot of bloggers just because of sheer numbers. But I don’t think Fort Wayne is that much different from Evansville and the Region in terms of population. And yet the number of Fort Wayne blogs is orders of magnitude greater.
