I haven’t had a lot of time to play around with the new Word Press set up since installing it, but so far it seems to be running well. I need to still make more adjustments to templates and update my RSS feeds in Feedburner.
I had been using Blogger and FTP to publish my blog, but have found that at times it is impossible to get it to update a new blog post.
On Monday, I tried several times to get a post encouraging people to go out and vote to load into my Region Life blog, but was unsuccessful. I’ve had the same problem in the past with posts requiring extraordinarily long periods of time to post when using Blogger.
Others have experienced the same pain, reports The Real Blogger Status.
While I have enjoyed using Blogger’s service over the years, I won’t miss the long wait times required to publish a new post and have it appear.
Let’s hope Word Press continues to be a solid blogging platform for many years to come!
